Ladder safety class.  Every phone company in NY uses ladders in the course of business, and everyone should have an update on best practices and ladder safety.  Werner Ladder will do a hands on class with different styles of ladders, go through OSHA safety standards, ladder inspections and new technology for different climbing applications.

It’s hard to mitigate risk that you don’t recognize! This session provides practical information about step potential, phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase hazards, Delta and Wye considerations with an emphasis on grounding risks. The speaker uses interactive videos and commentary to explore risk identification and mitigation as pertaining to electrical hazard exposure to communications workers.
